Near to same template as possible in mobile version.
Must be visible and usable in All leading browsers + previous two versions as well. (ie6-7 – Opera 9+, Firefox 3+, Safari)
Mobile Version must work with: Opera Mini, Blackberry, iPhone Safari, Pocket IE.
Proposal may not include:
- Flash,
- Javascript/Ajax,
- Animation,
- Frames.

Right Keywords For SEO

Keywords selection is a very important process before you start applying SEO to your website. This is because without proper keyword planning, your SEO effort will not bring you any conversion as visitors to your site are not targeted at all. Relevancy is the key here.

When you are doing your keyword research, it is important for you to choose the most relevant keywords for your business. Basically, keywords can be categorized into 3 types, which are: Too Hot Keywords, Just Right Keywords, and Too Cold Keywords. “Too Hot Keywords” are words like “florists”, “translation”, or “gifts”.

Keywords List

These types of keywords are too generic, which do not seem to be targeted enough to get conversions. These keywords usually bring in high search volume but the conversion may not be as ideal as targeting keywords which falls into the “Just Right” category. By optimizing those “Just Right” keywords, you can get more targeted traffic to your website and increase the chance of conversions.

For SEO, it does make more sense to target keywords that fall in the Just Right category. As for “Too Cold Keywords”, they are usually long-tail key phrases like “corporate gifts for any event and budget”. When SEO is done correctly, you will get traffic from the long tail phrases due to the overall targeted keyword theme. So what do I mean by targeted keyword theme?

In order to achieve a targeted keyword theme, it really depends on the content that you put on your website. Unique, informative and keyword targeted content is something that you need in order to succeed in SEO. This is because long tail keywords usually take up 60% – 70% of overall organic traffic of a website and it is something every optimizer must capitalize on. So when your website overall content revolves around a particular theme. Although the traffic from long tail are spilled-overs from page 3, 4 or 5 of the SERPs, these traffic are very targeted and may result in conversions.

The bad new is that an optimizer will not be able to predict what kinds of long tail keywords that searchers will use. Therefore, long tail SEO can only be done by targeting the right keyword theme and creating relevant content.

When coming up with long tail content, just treat yourself as an educator. Write informative articles to educate your target market about the product or service that you are providing. In this case, you will be able to move your prospects that are in the research phase to the buying phase, which increases your chance of conversions.

Are you wondering what you can use RSS for right now? Here are some practical examples of RSS at work.

Use Your Own Content
Almost ANY web based content can be transformed into an RSS feed. The only real requirement is that the information changes regularly.

Thoughts/Commentary
You’ve probably heard of the term “blog” or “weblog”. It’s a page that displays (in chronological order) a series of writings on whatever the author wants to write about. While a normal blog also allows others to add their comments to yours, you don’t have to offer that functionality.

Set up a page where you regularly add your thoughts on all sorts of issues – or just one issue – with the most recent post at the top of the page. Include these items in an RSS feed, and you’ve got a whole new audience for your pearls of wisdom.

Newsletters
If you regularly produce an email newsletter, then consider converting it to RSS format as well as continuing to email it. After all, your newsletters ARE also shown on your web site… aren’t they?

New Links
If you have a links directory, considering creating an RSS feed of the new links added to your directory in the last week or so. If you have a category structure within that directory, with links added often, you can create a feed for each category.

Do you have timely information, e.g. important stock figures, to communicate to your customers? Automate the process with software and RSS can feed new critical information on an hourly basis (or more frequently if needed).

Articles
Share your knowledge. This is a more “formal” type of writing, where you write a series of articles on a specific topic. Add a new article on that topic every week or so. Set up several topics and you’ve got several new RSS feeds to attract even more interest in what you know.

Don’t forget to include a resource box in the article which allows others to reproduce your article on their site, with an obvious link back to you.

New Products
Got an online store with new inventory added regularly? Add details about your newly added items to an RSS feed to let people know what’s just come in.

Weekly/Monthly Specials
Do you regularly make special offers on different products in your inventory? Again, RSS is a great way to tell people what’s on special this week… or this month.

Using Content From OTHER Web Sites
If a site offers an RSS feed for people to subscribe to, you can possibly use that feed on your site. Just check the terms and conditions on the site FIRST to see if you can reproduce the feed. If in doubt – send an email or phone them to ask permission.

There are a few techniques I use to extend the effectiveness of my articles. First, I always start with a keyword or keyword phrase that I want to target with a particular article. I do major, major, major research on my article’s keywords, using sites like overture.com, and a few others.

I chëck how much competition there is for the keywords. Combining a new keyword with ones you already have positioned high for in the search engines works well. For example, I have optimized my site for the keyword ‘Frëe’, it appears throughout my site. When I introduce a new keyword phrase I sometimes combine it with Frëe. Pick the right keyword combination and you will gain an edge over your competition more quickly.

Always put your keyword phrase into the title of your article. I also make it a habit of not picking the top keywords in a niche, I go for middle ranked keywords – I am better assured that I will rank on the first page SERPs for these lower keywords. Why waste valuable time shooting for the stars when you can easily land on the moon!

I submit my articles mainly to a short list of online article directories ( ezinearticles.com, buzzle.com, isnare.com, goarticles.com, ideamarketers.com, and articlealley.com ) these work the best for me. These sites rank well in the search engines and even though the surfer may go to another site to read your article first, it then delivers a much more warmed up and targeted visitor to your own site.

Other webmasters from your niche will pick up your high quality articles and place them on their sites. Organically growing more related one-way links to your site. Google looks very favorably on these one-way links and will reward your site for having them.

Article marketing is one Organic SEO tactic every website should be using. Instead of paying high prices for seo services, why not write or hire someone to create keyword rich articles for your site. The benefits will surprise you.

Try Blogging…

Blogs are another form of Organic SEO. It also builds links and traffïc to your site the natural way – by providing valuable content.

How to rank on Yahoo!

Recently I have been concentrating on Yahoo and the elements on a page that they look at when ranking, I looked close at their own guidelines and noticed a few very important key points. Think of this document as a break down of their guide lines. As the following text points out, Yahoo are focusing heavily on page criteria.

Quoted from Yahoo: Users are more likely to click a link if the title matches their search. Choose terms for the title that match the concept of your document.

Sound advice to make the title tag descriptive of the pages contents as this is what people will see in the search results and click on.

Quoted from Yahoo: Use a “description” meta-tag and write your description accurately and carefully. After the title, the description is the most important draw for users. Make sure the document title and description attract the interest of the user but also fit the content on your site.

This is the clearest indication that Yahoo read and give weight to the meta description tag, make sure that the tag is a desriptive sentence with all of the pages keywords present. I would aim at no more than 3 lines.

Quoted from Yahoo: Use a “keyword” meta-tag to list key words for the document. Use a distinct list of keywords that relate to the specific page on your site instead of using one broad set of keywords for every page.

Clearly Yahoo hold weight to the Meta keyword tag, what once was deemed to be a spammy aspect of ranking tactics is now an ok method of getting your sites message across – by no means stuff it full of keywords and repeat them to the extreme, just make sure that the pages keywords are mentioned twice or so in the tag.

Placing them in graphics or image maps means search engines can’t always search for the text, and the crawler can’t follow links to your site’s other pages. An HTML site map, with a link from your welcome page, can help make sure all your pages are crawled.

Basic sound seo advice, keep links and text plain HTML that way the spiders can read and follow the links.

From this it is clear that Yahoo, read and asign weight to the alt text. Make sure that the text describes the image, but be sure to include a keyword to increase your keyword density.

Quoted from Yahoo: Correspond with webmasters and other content providers and build rich linkages between related pages. Note: “Link farms” create links between unrelated pages for no reason except to increase page link counts. Using link farms violates Yahoo!’s Site Guidelines and will not improve your page ranking.
